If he did not invent Beer Can Chicken, Steven Raichlen is certainly it's chief promoter! Beer Can Chicken is one of my personal favorites because it works so well. We don't use his Beer Can Chicken Rub bacause my wife uses a Cuban marinade for our Beer Can Chicken recipe. I cook it on my Weber grill and, just as the book says, the skin is perfectly crispy and the meat is tender. It is so hard to screw this up and that's a good thing. One chicken just never seems to be enough!
