DIRECTV Equipment Lease Program
In an effort to bring more value to the customer, DIRECTV is switching to an equipment lease program. Effective 3/1/06, new DIRECTV customers will no longer own their equipment. DIRECTV® Differentiated Offers
Effective 1/25/06, any new customer who does not meet DIRECTV's credit requirement may opt to pay a fee of $200 for up to four standard receivers, or $300 for one advanced (HD, DVR, HD-DVR) and up to three standard receivers. This fee will be credited back to the customer as monthly $10 credits to their DIRECTV account.
